There is some useful information in the book that describes the technologies and how they relate to each other. Not a bad way to get your toe wet if you have not worked with these before.
If you buy this book (like I did) you will not only have wasted your money you are about to waste a lot of time trying to comprehend what the author is writing about. For background I have over 10 years as J2EE developer since early 2000s in various Silicon Valley companies.
