I found the plot-line to be both boring and whiny. The author complains about the oft reported trend and fallacy of relaying on technology to replace the intelligence gained by exploiting human contacts (HUMINT).

Great story line in all of November Man books by Bill Granger. The November Man movie will be out in late August.
