This was easier to read, more naturally explained and more diverse in subject matter than the popular textbook by Rosen. I would definitely recommend this as the better textbook.

Good-natured writer, but assumes a bit too much of the reader. This book is best used for a college course with a teacher in order to fully comprehend the topics presented.
