Beautiful book containing excellent examples. It is a very large and heavy book, so in case you haven't noticed this is not a portable book but a very good showcase item for your office or home.

Phaidon's book contains what you should most want from a book on architecture: a heavily illustrated selection of about 1000 worthwhile projects around the globe. Most buildings are shown from a couple of their exterior "best sides," an aerial shot and one or two appealing interiors.

If you love modern architecture and love books that also include the building plans you need to have this book. I constantly go back to this book for a reread.
