Actor and comedian Thom Sharp is from Dearborn, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan.

He is well known for his voice over work and as "that bald guy in the ad for.

He went to Dearborn's Sacred Heart High.

Thom later attended Henry Ford Community College and received a bachelor's degree in marketing from Eastern Michigan University and a master's degree in communication from Wayne State.

He currently lives in Sherman Oaks, California.

He was so popular with the Goodyear ads that he was used to cover promotions, PR, dealer relations, training and internal communications.

Thom is a big fan of the Detroit Tigers and tries make it back to Detroit a few times a year to see them play.

In 1996, Thom received an Arts Achievement Awards from Wayne State University.
